The upper body is killer, but I'm personally not feeling the legs. That said it looks really good; I love the brush metal finish, the head unit, and the thing on his back.

Keep rocking!

AWESOME--This mech is right up my alley! (Actually, it's probably a good thing it's not right up my alley, as I would likely run screaming like a little girl.)

Day gum man. How do you do it?
(you don't need to answer that)

Is it actually rigged with armatures
and moving parts? Have you taken
engineering classes? Are you building
one part at a time and piecing it all
together in a way that would work
if it was ever created in the real world?

It's linked in a hierarchy so that it's poseable, but it's not yet rigged in a strict sense. I'll be doing that as time permits. I haven't taken formal coursework on mechanical design, but the aesthetics and construction seem straightforward enough. The mecha itself was build up as a series of separate parts, as that seems to be the most logical way to build something like this.

Looking good. What are you planning on using the hands for? Will this mech have weapons it can carry with it?

I'll probably just fake them or put in something to hide the ball joint.

Because I'm lazy and hate freedom.
