Hello - I am creating a custom set of Magic: The Gathering cards for some friends, that I would eventually like to make available online. I have used this art on a card. Can you please let me know if I should credit it differently than "Mike Doscher", or if you would prefer I not use it?

Thanks

Oh, feel free to use it for personal stuff like this. 'Mike Doscher' is fine. Thanks for asking, I appreciate it.

Hello MikeDoscher,

I'm very impressed with your concept works, they are really awesome!
I'm studying 3d modeling and I'm really obsessed with the idea of modeling some of your works for my (non-comercial) portfolio. Do you mind if I do your "Hermit Crab" in 3d and place it in my portolio (with all your credits and a link to original work, of course)?

Did you used some 3d as base for the painting, or it's just made from scratch?

It's just from scratch. The main body is just a box that's been chamfered here and there to make it more interesting.

It´s really a damn cool design.Well,again.Your mechanical style´s definitely one of my most favourites.
Will there be a more elaborated version of this one or do I have to fave this one?

Nice. Although with the name "hermit crab" I was expecting it to steal/find new shells/weapons like a real hermit crab would.

Hermit crabs are awesome pets.
I used to race them across the floor when I was a kid. They just went everywhere:P

i certainly hope that those two front legs are stablizers. if they were for walking, the single joints would not maintain a stable platform.

Stabilizers and to decrease ground pressure.

cool, although they seem like they should be situated in the back to help absorb recoil, but whatever.

man your designs really do rock. nothing in there to just look funky everything seems to have a function. that makes those military vehicles damn right believeable =)

gotta try this kind of an approach

Very, very nice man :) I really dig the boxy modular design it has. Just enough details to really sell the hard military vibe.
