Heavy Pump Truck by MikeDoscher Heavy Pump Truck by MikeDoscher
The macrophage of the city's circulatory system, the International HX-3 Heavy Lift Chassis has been adapted to wide variety of roles and configurations by the Engineering Department of the New Dresden Special Economic Zone (NDSEZ).

Here we see a high pressure pumper configured to resist both scavenger attacks and some of the more caustic biofilms. The South Trunk was constructed well before the introduction of the XT invader species, so much of the clearance work has to be done by manned units instead of remotes.

All pumpers currently in service have been uparmored and fitted with additional security features following several ambushes of maintenance crews. It is speculated that these attacks are related to the urban legend that pumpers are sometimes used by paramilitary death squads as strike vehicles.

Really nice. Even with the ortho perspective rather than dynamic, it looks really nice. I like the pale olive drab, it works with the vehicle type.

Excellent design. I love how the forward cockpit is offset a bit by windshield-ish command post farther pack. This is what I would label vehicle design done right!

In cases such as theses, I always read "urban legends" as "factual reports" :XD:

Partway. The vehicle is a pencil sketch that's been digitally colored, while the background is straight digital.

Ha hah! First comment.

Cool pictre. I was going to comment that you had created an excellent chassis for an APC variant, but since I read your comments I think I can see that that wasn't entirely accidental ;).
