Centauroid Mech by MikeDoscher Centauroid Mech by MikeDoscher
Painted concept for a sort of centauroid mech design. Straight Photoshop, nothing special technique wise.

Sick as a dog today.

Edit: Replaced the original version with one with stronger lighting and a less cluttered background.

I still marvel at how well you make the geometric look otherwise organic and animated.

id like it if not for the underlying flaw of the design itself, with half tread for propulsion you limit the full range of the quad legs, with the quad legs you only strain the tread. other then that nice looking mech

I like it but I personally think it would be cooler with just legs and no treads, also the little guy sticking out is distracting me...the vehicles got alot of character without him

I think you're probably right, but it's part of an attempt to find where the aesthetic and psychological dividing line between mecha and vehicle is.
