Cover for a Rocketship Empires: 1936 supplement. For attempt at using Painter. I like it a lot, but I'm still getting used to it. I might revisit this one later.

"We'll always have Beteguse" I like the concept It combine my two favorite genres classic films/ film noir and sci fi. I have a story concept stuck in my head these days for a sort of John Huston style adventure story set in space.

A odd but classic concept and, how before we where in the “modern” era “Sci-fi” authors where thinking about going to the moon in bullets shot from cannons, riding on rockets, or ships powered by nuclear engines. How modern Sci-fi is odd too: in Star Trek Starfleet is using 300 year old navy jargon, Warhammer 40K building are made out of bricks, and the list keeps going. I guess some things never lose purpose like that camel.

True, I can see blue jeans being used 3000 years plus from now. Unless everyone would likes wearing Kevlar jeans, That would be cool. lol

hahaha Kevlar jeans would be pretty awesome.
though if anything i think we would produce clothing made from Carbon fibers inner woven with Kevlar. it would last longer and be extremely tough hehehehe
